Beloved actor Jeremy Bulloch, known most popularly for his portrayal of ‘Boba Fett’ in 1980’s ‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’, has passed away at the age of 75. Bulloch was pronounced dead in the hospital on Thursday, Dec 17th after battling complications with Parkinson’s disease.
Bulloch’s agent had this to say about Bulloch’s heartbreaking passing: “He was devoted to his wife, three sons, and 10 grandchildren and they will miss him terribly.” “He had a long and happy career spanning more than 45 years.” The previous actor of Fett’s character and successor of Bulloch’s representation Daniel Logan took to Instagram to mourn the loss saying” RIP legend I’ll never forget all you’ve taught me!! I’ll love you forever!!”
Bulloch’s career may have come to an unexpected end, but it was an incredible run, and his forty-five years in the film industry has impacted our media to this day. Beyond Bulloch’s notorious and charming representation of Boba Fett, Bulloch appeared in ‘007: Octopussy’, ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Robin Hood’, and even 2005’s ‘Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith’! His career was unlike any other, and inspired millions upon millions of fans like me to fall in love with the once again mega-popular character that is Boba Fett, and fall in love with the true craftsmanship that is acting.
